オーストラリア・パースよりご来訪のお客様より
I’m now back in Perth, Western Australia after an enjoyable snow season holiday in Japan.
My wife and I, along two other friends (Jim & Bev) visited Maruni Jeans after a short train journey from Myoko. Our host of many visits, Meiko from Kogakouri Hotel, gave us directions to assist our navigation.
We very much enjoyed the retail experience with our wives purchasing products from Maruni Jeans. Your generosity to share a quick peruse of the jeans stock and related artefacts upstairs was a highlight for me having lived much of my non-work life in Levis, Lee, Wrangler denim jeans.
Your hospitality to show us around the Saki Brewery, the nearby Temple under restoration and then drop us at the nearby restaurant that specialised in tempura and other Japanese cuisine dishes was extraordinarily generous.
We’ll certainly be returning to Japan for future visits, although not sure when we may get back to Maruni. It would be well worth a visit to see the Temple when restoration is eventually concluded- its clearly a significant historical and cultural asset of the town.
Again, please accept our appreciation of the hospitality from yourself and colleagues (both shop and brewery).
If you venture to our beautiful part of the world, we’d love to return some of the hospitality.
Kindest regards.
